Brr...Its Cold!

Last week we filmed on location at an authentic Russian restaurant, and it was freezing inside. I was joking about filming "on location" in Russia because when you were inside, it was pretty crazy all the stuff they had in there. Outside however, was a different story. It has been crazy hot out here the past week, and it is only getting worse. Heat warnings all day today, and most likely for the rest of the week. Luck us, we are out on location, and moving into splits. As our call times get later and later this week, hopefully we will miss out on some of the heat, we hope. We filmed outside on Friday in the overflow parking lot just down the block from the stage, and I got wayyy too sun burnt. We had a coffee truck due to the late evening thanks to our lovely actress Katee Sackhoff, and Teddy even wrangled us a taco cart. That makes the late nights not so bad. My time on set is quickly winding down and it gets harder and harder each day to think about leaving. I miss my family and friends at home and school, and I will be happy to see them, but thinking about having to go back to classes is rough. I'm having more fun that I've ever had in my entire life, and giving that up is going to be hard. I keep hoping that they put out one more script before I go because it is going to be so strange to not know what is going on. Hopefully the friends I've made here will keep me in the loop. I've gotten to say "goodbye" to a few of the actors, as they won't work again until after I'm gone. Cherry Jones is possibly the nicest person that I've ever met in my entire life, and it was amazing to meet and hang out with her a few times. We got to see her the morning of her Emmy Nomination, and we were all very excited, and hopeful that she will get the win. We are on the stage tomorrow in a new set, which will be fun, and a new challenge as nobody has worked in it before. Then we are on location for the rest of the week. Only 2 weeks left. Crazy.
